You are terrible and you make the world more terrible.

Sex is a motherfucking
Social construct
You asshole

Technically, wouldn’t it be gender? I mean, we finally got gender re-defined, might as well use it.

Yeah, but sex as a bianary is still
A MOTHERFUCKING SOCIAL CONSTRUCT.

Not everyone’s male or female. Not mentally, and NOT BIOLOGICALLY.

GOD YEAH

What I wanna know is why people are being so cruel to Cis people

We’re not being “cruel” to cis people. We’re doing what we have to do to get our point across, and that point is BINARY BIOLOGICAL SEX DOES NOT EXIST.

Yes, but there is a difference between binary biological sex not existing, and sex being a social construct.  It is true that binary biological sex doesn’t exist (read: intersex persons) but sex is most definitely scientific, because it’s physical.  A social construct is defined as “a social mechanism, phenomenon, or category created and developed by society; a perception of an individual, group, or idea that is ‘constructed’ through cultural or social practice” (Dictionary.com).  This means that the perception of a certain individual and their identity would change depending on what culture they were in, where your physical sex would not.  This is not to say that the implications of being intersex/male/female would not change, but the physical identity would remain the same.  No matter where you were, you would either be male, female, intersex, etc. just like you would still be brunette/5’8”/an amputee/whatever

i think the point to take away here is that the things that define us as male, female or intersex are arbitrary and therefore a social construct.  i mean you gotta look at it this way.  the medical community, least in the usa (can’t speak for other countries and the way they do things, it’s better in some and worse in others), basically says that if your phalloclitoral structure is shaped one way, it makes you female, and if it’s shaped another way, it makes you male, and if it’s in between or doesn’t look quite right, you’re intersex.

which is a construct.

i ain’t kidding, they’ll get a damn ruler out and say if it’s under this length, it’s a clit, if it’s over this length, it’s a penis, and if it’s in between, we gotta get the knives out and fix it because we can’t have anybody who ain’t one or the other.  (i got lucky and didn’t get the blade.)

human bodies don’t fit into neat little boxes. even moving past the neat little binary boxes, there aren’t three boxes that everyone fits into.  gender’s a weird spectrum, and guess what? sex is too.  it’s medical constructs, which being a part of society that impacts our lives and interactions are social constructs, that define us, not anything naturally clear-cut.

being 5’8” is gonna be the same no matter where you go, even if it’s maybe in metric someplace else.  standards of what your sex might have been called at birth aren’t.  sex is just as much of a construct as gender, because there’s no clean way of telling without somebody drawing lines what’s what and who’s who.
