hey guys

so, um, this isn’t an easy post to write.

basically, my father is blackmailing me. he’s holding a considerable amount of money - which i need for food and other living expenses, because i’m in pretty dire financial straits - over me conditional to a list of behaviours he wants me to exhibit. the list includes:

“you’re not to badger us about your various issues / life-style choices / gender position, etc.”

he doesn’t want me to talk about being trans*. he doesn’t want me to try to get my parents or other people to stop misgendering me. he doesn’t want me to go to my gender identity clinic appointment in august. he doesn’t want me to be able to talk about my depression, my autism, or my disability.

this isn’t particularly surprising for my father. what’s frightening this time is that he’s using money to try to control me. i’m really, really scared that if i try to live according to my gender, or try to manage my mental and physical disabilities in ways he doesn’t approve of, he’ll withdraw that money and leave me with no way to eat or pay bills.

so. i hate, hate, hate doing this, but i’m asking for donations. anything - anything - you can contribute would be so incredibly helpful. right now i’m just trying to squirrel away enough that i’ll be able to pay my medication and food costs, as that’s what i need to keep me alive. i feel awful asking anyone else for their hard-earned money, but i don’t know where else to turn right now.

if i could draw, i’d offer commissions, but since i can’t, there’s some other stuff i could do if you’d like! i could:

• write a fic for any fandom we share
• make graphics for any fandom
• cover any song coverable with voice/ukulele/piano
• record a reading of a fic or part of a book

so yeah, that’s that. if anyone donates anything i will literally cry with gratitude. if you can’t afford to donate, please consider reblogging this? any signal boost would help so much.
